What is Restless Courage Publishing?
Restless Courage Publishing is a brand new independent publishing company launched in October 2009 by Alyssa J. Hanson, an aspiring author, artist, designer, and entrepreneur, after she realized how many talented people wanted to be published and how challenging it was for those people to find a publisher. This is currently a one-woman show: Alyssa does all of the editing, layout, and organizing, and because of this, Restless Courage Publishing can currently only handle a limited number of projects at one time. However, Alyssa is always looking for new ideas from people who share her passion for writing and the arts.
Why "Restless Courage?" What does that even mean?
"Restless Courage" started as Alyssa's instant messaging handle when she was in high school, and the concept has stuck with her ever since. The idea behind Restless Courage is that most people have great ideas and want to do great things; they're just waiting for the opportunity to act. That's what Alyssa is striving to do through creating Restless Courage Publishing: to give other dreamers the opportunity to make their dreams a reality.
